Notice is hereby given of a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2017 BUDGET of the Town of Trempealeau, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin, on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at the Trempealeau Town Hall, W24854 ST RD 54/93, Centerville. The proposed budget, in detail, is available for inspection at the town clerk’s office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Following is a summary of the Proposed 2017 Budget:
Notice is hereby given of a Special Town Meeting of the electors of the Town of Trempealeau on Thursday, November 17, 2016. This special town meeting will follow the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2017 town budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Trempealeau Town Hall, W24854 ST RD 54/93, Centerville. This special town meeting of the electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes by the town board for the following purpose:
To adopt the 2016 town tax levy to be paid in 2017 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.

The Town of Trempealeau is seeking individuals for part-time snow plowing.
This is a seasonal, on-call position that will only be called to duty during Town winter weather events. If substantial snow fall or ice is expected, this additional staff will be placed on-call with as much advance notice as possible. Plowing experience is preferred, but not required.
An application can be picked up at the Town of Trempealeau Town Hall. Applications will be accepted through November 4, 2016.
